Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility Statement
The Colorado Chamber Players is committed to being a diverse, inclusive, and equitable work and performance place. We strive to create a workplace where all performers, staff, board and volunteers, whatever their gender, race, religion, ethnicity, national origin, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, education or disability, feel valued and respected. We take a non-discriminatory approach, in providing equal opportunity for employment in all aspects of our organization.
The arts uniquely empower the creative vitality of every identity. Colorado Chamber Players understand that cultural vibrancy in Colorado is due to its diversity. Colorado Chamber Players believe that all cultures are vital to the arts and that the promotion of a culturally democratic world is of utmost importance. We celebrate inclusion through diversity.
We listen to the diverse communities that experience our concerts and educational outreach. We value input from diverse groups. When possible, we provide bi-lingual events (English/Spanish) for LatinX populations.
The Colorado Chamber Players strives to perform at handicapped accessible venues, with clear access for those in wheelchairs and walkers. Venues should have accessible parking in attached or nearby parking lots or parking garages, curb cuts, elevators in order to access the upper level of auditorium seating, and reserved seating areas for audience members with disabilities.
In addition, every effort is made to provide Assistive Listening Devices or captioning to hard of hearing patrons.
