K-12 Education Programs
In 2023-24, the Colorado Chamber Players will continue our partnership with Think 360 Arts, with live and video outreach to area schools. Through Think360, CCP artists provide Wolf Trap workshops and residencies for ECE, elementary and middle school classrooms. Residencies can be presented bilingually (Spanish/English).
The CCP was an Ensemble in Residence from 2013-18 at Denver School of the Arts and coordinated the orchestra chamber music program. As part of the residency, CCP musicians gave over 100 chamber music coaching sessions to DSA middle and high school students; as well as master classes. These talented students then performed at Children’s Hospital, elementary schools, and senior centers.
After a recent residency at the Downtown Denver Expeditionary School, a student commented that “after this amazing experience with Miss Barbara, I want to say that the violin is a magical instrument and it sounds so peaceful.”
Colorado Chamber Players offers a variety of educational and outreach programs, reaching hundreds of students K-12. Some scholarships are available. For more information on availability and pricing at your school, please contact us using the form below.
The CCP also visits hospital, hospice and mental health facility patients, older adult centers, and centers for the disabled.

Tunji and the Giant
Tunji and the Giant: African folk tale- available year round, presented with The Little Matador. For pre-K to 5th grade audiences, students participate on small percussion instruments.
Music of Flight: The Falcon
The CCP has commissioned a humorous script about the Falcon and other Marvel superheroes, from local playwright Josh Hartwell (Curious and Buntport Theatres). Music about birds and wildlife will be interspersed into the script, including music by black composer William Grant Still (Danzas de Panama); Maria Newman (The Falcon, The Snowy Owl, and The Dipper, for flute, violin and viola); Villa-Lobos The Jet Whistle; and music by Franz Haydn (string quartet op. 33 The Bird). Two actors, two violinists, violist, cellist and flutist will perform the theatre/music hybrid The Falcon.
