Simone Spadino Pippa, born in Potenza (Italy) in 2000, started studying violin at the age of three with his violinist father Gabriele. At the age of 15, Simone obtained the bachelor of music (Diploma Accademico Superiore) at the Conservatory “Carlo Gesualdo da Venosa” in Potenza. He has studied since then with Vadim Brodski in Rome and Warsaw, and with Pavel Berman in Turin, Italy.
Simone played at RAI Studios for a “Conservatori a Confronto” national competition transmitted on Italian National TV.
Simone has played as a soloist in the Sibelius Violin Concerto with the Kaunas City Symphony under Martynas STAŠKUS, during the “XXIV Festival of Young Musicians” at the Kaunas Philarmonic. Other concerto appearances include Haydn and Mendelssohn concertos with Lorenzo Perosi Festival and with the Magna Grecia Symphony.
He has performed with violinist Alina Komissarova (Ukraine), violist Antonello Farulli (Italy) and the pianist Cristiano Burato (Italy). He regularly plays in Italy (Venice, Rome, Naples, Matera, Cremona), Poland, Lithuania, Spain and Canary Islands, and in Switzerland.
Simone performs on the 1724 “Il Cavaliere” (The Knight) Carlo Antonio Testore, which He has been playing on since March 2019, acquired from Amorim Fine Violins in Cremona (Italy).
